Students are required to cut the outside dimension of the gear, drill the centre hole, bore the hole to the accurately diameter by using a Centre Lathe. Teeth of the Gear is cut by using a Milling Machine equipped with a Dividing Head and the Gear Form Tool teeth by teeth.
