Manufacturing Procedures - Rear Wheel Brake Block SS040101

This is a complicated exercise in making a component consists of different angular surfaces by using a vertical milling machine. First of all, the special clamping method fix the material to cut an accurately rectangular block. This means that surfaces of the workpiece will be perpendicular to all its neighbour surfaces. Two angular fixtures are applied to support the workpiece in cutting the angular surfaces.

Drilling and taping are also applied to make the 10mm diameter holes and the M4 thread holes.
