The end mill cutter (4mm) is broken in the milling process of the Shank Body (SS020200).
This process is very easy to break the cutter,
so students must very carefully in milling the 4mm slot.

A student locate the position of the 7mm diameter drill in drilling the holes on

the digital readout (green digits on the right hand side)



The 16mm diameter hole of the Rear End Arm (SS040300) is being drilled by using
a vertical milling machine. Cutting fluid is also required to apply.



The 5mm diameter hole of the Rear Wheel Brake Pin (SS040500) is being drilled
by using a centre lathe equipped with a drill chuck and a 5mm drill



The Front End Base (SS010100) is mounted in a fixture fixed on the machine table
of the milling machine. The 20mm diameter hole is being cut by using a slot drill.
This hole will be enlarge to the 38mm diameter according to the drawing.



The 38mm diameter bore of the Front End Base (SS010100) is being enlarged by using
a vertical milling machine equipped with a special boring bar.



The angular surface of the Front End Base (SS010100) is being cut by using
a vertical milling machine equipped with a single edge fine cutter.
Milling head of the machine is set to 20 drgree from vertical.



The angular holes of the Front End Base (SS010100) is being drill by using
a 14.5 diameter twist drill.



The angular hole of the Front End Base (SS010100) is being cut by using
a 15mm diameter reamer.



Three 7mm diameter holes of the Front End Base (SS010100) are being drilled.
The component is mounted on the special fixture, and is fixed on
an angle plate, which mounted on the machine table.



Lower surface of the Front End Base (SS010100) is being cut by a
vertical milling machine equipped with a face milling cutter. The component
is mounted on the machine table by using two set of clamp kits.
