The main aim of this project is to design, fabricate and implement a new tilting device for the furnace for ergonomic, easy and safe operation.
As the system will assume it is installed close to the furnace where the temperature is extremely high that could almost destroy everything, we need to consider the safety factors and the simplicity of the mechanism carefully. To reach the optimal design of the device, the following objectives were first set:
i. To establish the product specification,
ii. To investigate and analyze the existing driven systems and working principle of the tilting mechanisms,
iii. To design the product for manufacturing,
iv. To fabricate the device on time, and
v. To test and verify the proposed product.
