Introduction

In this project, we have a task to design and manufacture two kits for demonstrating an automobile engine and a gearbox separately.

 1.1.              Objectives

The objective of the design is support the weight of the gear box and engine. The design should be able to hang the engine and gear box for demonstration. Moreover, the design should be safe to use.

 1.2.              Functional required

To make the goal of the design more accurate, three goals of functions are decided, they are first, to hold the engine and gear box at the height of 1.5m. Second, the design should be able to rotate the engine and gear box 360 degrees. In addition it should contain a locking mechanism to hold the engine at a certain position to allow the users to observe.

 1.3.              Schedule
